This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an elite and fun Agile team. The MAP (My AT&T Portal) team is responsible for myRESULTS, myCOACH and mySales Portal applications supporting performance management for AT&T’s Retail and Customer Care organizations.

We are seeking a strong data analyst who is used to working on a small team wearing many hats, where every person plays a critical role in the success of the team. This is an exciting and fun environment where a senior resource can shine, it is dynamic and very fast paced, and the Analyst plays a critical role interfacing with the customers and being the face of the application.

In this role you will be the primary resource for business analysis, testing and support for the application.  You need to be able to ‘hold your own’ from speaking with clients, to understanding the client needs and preparing test plans, to management and execution of application testing, training users and writing help documents and executive release summaries.

You will be responsible for designing the logic for new metrics, understanding where data comes from and then testing to ensure it is accurate, and building PowerBI reports with that data. The testing involves 30% data analysis and 40% application testing and 30% PowerBI report writing and user training. You will also be the support resource for the application, so verbal and written communication skills need to be top notch. This is a high-profile team serving senior management and front-line employees building custom applications. Patience is a must. The existing custom application has a robust architecture in Teradata/Snowflake/SQL Server/Java/JavaScript/PowerBI. The team adds new metrics and capabilities monthly as the business needs change.

To be successful, you will need to have excellent data tracing and troubleshooting skills, excellent SQL skills, PowerBI Experience, and be able to read and understand code at a high level to trace issues.  Knowledge of the AT&T Retail environment and myRESULTS and myCOACH will be very helpful.

3-5 years’ data analyst experience to include:

• PowerBI
• SQL

2+ years’ experience:

• Working with AT&T data and systems in a Retail field support or reporting capacity
• Familiarity with myRESULTS and myCOACH tool
• Writing and executing SQL queries for back-end data testing
• Analyzing software requirement specifications and writing and executing test plans and test cases
• Writing PowerBI reports

1+ year experience:

• Conducting mobile testing on mobile devices and web
• Conducting integration, functional, system, regression, positive / negative, UAT, load and stress testing, data-driven end-user support (end-user training experience preferred)

Other:

• Ability to understand a data model
• Ability to read and understand SQL code
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences preferred
