OVERVIEW

Original Penguin is searching for a Supervisor who can create an engaging shopping experience for our stylish customers. Responsibilities vary from; ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, replenishing of the sales floor, coaching, resolving issues, and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

  DUTIES &  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated task


• Receive complaints and resolve problems


• Maintain timekeeping and personnel records


• Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa


• Interacts with customers in a courteous, friendly manner (e.g., maintains eye contact, smiles)


• Consistently greets customers in a prompt, friendly, and welcoming manner.


• Demonstrates product knowledge and fashion trends when speaking with customers to consult shopper and drive sales (e.g., knowledgeable about product).


• Consistently productive throughout the entire shift (e.g., effectively uses idle time to replenish product, maintain visual displays, engage with customers, etc.).


• Consistently reports to work on time


• Works with a sense of urgency


• Self-motivated to drive and achieve (e,g., is motivated by goals, takes initiative).
  Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
   

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to perform effective selling techniques.


• Proven experience as a supervisor or relevant role


• Strong verbal and written skills


• Ability to lift 30Ibs merchandise onto the  stockroom shelving which may require the use of a ladder or step stool


• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.


• Customer service-oriented. (outgoing, friendly, and personable with a positive attitude .


• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
