Job Description:

We are Cornell Pump Company; a wholly owned subsidiary of Roper Technologies and we are looking for a hardworking Saw Operator to join our team!

The Saw Operator is vital to our busy and productive Machine Shop. This position provides essential services to the fabrication and machining cells by cutting a variety of metals as well as taking responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of the area. This position plays a crucial part in manufacturing a quality product that we are proud to deliver to our customers!

This job includes…

• Receiving and organizing metal stock by utilizing an overhead crane


• Maintaining quality standards by inspecting material


• Cutting and deburring materials to specification


• Taking accurate measurements


• Upholding excellence by keeping all saws and tools clean and maintained

What we are looking for…

• High School/Trade School; or 1-3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Strong mechanical aptitude


• Measurement and mathematical ability


• Organizational skills


• A commitment to quality
