Experience in Supervision in Environmental Services required.
High School education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Attends meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
Cleans and manages the cleanup of emergency spills and debris.
Conducts employee training.
Demonstrates excellent customer services skills.
Maintains assigned work area and equipment.
Maintains standards of quality in the department.
Maintains storage room and allocates daily supplies.
Participates in decisions regarding hiring, disciplinary actions; evaluations and promotion of Environmental Services Technicians.
Prepares, coordinates, and follows up on daily operations of the Environmental Services Department.
Reports safety hazards and defects.
Schedules daily work; assigns specific tasks/work as necessary; performs daily inspections.
Sends out equipment needing repair.

Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, to meet the job requirements.
Reacts calmly under stressful conditions and relates cooperatively and constructively with clients and co-work complex problems and to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requires the ability to follow written and verbal instructions to solve complex problems and file basic reports.
