Senior Finance Manager, Global Revenue Consolidation at Illumina, Inc. in San Diego, California

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial modeling, analytics, and revenue consolidation support to commercial organization


• Work closely with the regional commercial finance teams to lead the annual revenue planning process, regular forecast and projection updates; support and coordinate regional finance  


• Support monthly/quarterly close process as it pertains to revenue consolidation, as well as preparation for Quarterly Executive Reviews and Dashboard reviews, multi-year financial models, and both regular and ad hoc scenario analysis


• Interact with senior leadership to review actual results and variances to budgets and forecast;


• Analyze, synthesize and translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive strategic decision making at the executive level


• Acquire intense understanding of Illumina’s business today, and critical insights into where it is going in the future allowing for innovative concepts and the promotion of new ideas


• Utilize financial systems to improve and complete tasks (i.e. Cognos PAX, Cognos BI, SAP, etc.)


• Maximize long-term shareholder value while protecting corporate assets

Requirements:

• Typically has 10+ years of direct work experience, and 5+ years in Finance, preferably in a high growth environment.


• Passionate about the company mission


• Must be driven and highly motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethic


• Exceptional commitment and track record of accuracy, attention-to-detail and quality while meeting goals or deadlines


• Superb written communication and project management skills


• Commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting multiple goals or deadlines


• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Knowledge of Cognos TM1, Tableau and SAP


• Self-directed and able to work well in a team environment


• Exhibits clear leadership potential

Education:

BS or BA in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
