Dura-Line is looking for three experienced Regional Manufacturing Cost Analyst to provide plant-level oversight for internal controls, support for budget and forecast development, analysis of operations performance, participate in the annual inventory process, and work closely with Plant Managers to help and coach in making good business decisions related to plant operations and ensure the plant complies.

In this exciting NEW role, you will be responsible for providing support to our plants within one of these three regions (West will be based in North Salt Lake, UT, Central will be based in Gainesville, TX, and East will be based in Elyria, OH). Given you will be responsible for about 3 plants within your region, we need someone willing to travel as much as 50% of the time. In addition, you will serve as the backup for the three plants.

We are looking for an analytical and engaging cost analyst with a fundamental understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance & testing; as well as, the principles of cost and inventory accounting under US GAAP and IFRS in a manufacturing environment. A background in lean manufacturing processes will be key as you will be conducting Gemba walks of the production facilities to assess overall production conditions and adherence to policies, procedures, and good business practices.

These are critical roles in our organization, and your leadership skills will be a determining factor for our growth.  As the Regional Manufacturing Cost Analyst, you will need at least 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience where you had a proven knowledge of annual operating budgets and monthly forecasting. Project Management experience is highly needed for this role and you will oversee cost-saving projects along with CAPEX & participate in SOX implementation and Cost harmonization projects. Your organizational expertise will be a crucial skill when managing these detail-oriented projects.

What else is needed to be successful in this role?

We will need your strong communication and rigorous attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, demanding environment will be key in this data-focused role. Must be computer savvy, and comfortable utilizing different programs when it comes to financial reporting, data analysis, and daily data inputting and have experience using Tier 1 ERP systems (SAP experience is a PLUS). Some experience in standard cost elements (BOM), inventory, cycle count, and production documentation will help as you help operations.
