About the Role


In this client-centric role, you will change people's lives by guiding them toward their short and long-term financial goals. You are the expert for financial advice and planning. New business development and referrals will lead to your financial success. You will work with internal Consumer partners for referrals and will prospect externally for new clients.

What You Can Expect


You will provide ethical and objective financial advice to clients through comprehensive financial planning and investment strategy to maximize their investment performance for their income, insurance needs, financial objectives, tax status, and risk tolerance. You will adhere to regulatory standards and company policies to ensure all customer documentation is complete and time-sensitive transactions are processed correctly.

Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients, identifying prospects, and working referral centers of influence will position you to hit your sales targets. You will partner with various lines of business and maximize relationships by attending or conducting meetings within other areas of the bank to educate employees on referral skills and customer benefits.

How You'll Spend Your Time



  • You will meet with clients to understand their financial goals and objectives.

  • You will prepare customer presentations and utilize databases and worksheets to gain an understanding of products and sales approaches for targeted customers.

  • You'll maintain an up-to-date familiarity with the current securities portfolio in order to ensure optimum marketing potential.

  • You will complete required training sessions and continuing education, keep securities licensing in good standing, comply with correspondence, marketing and sales activity rules, and notify supervisory principal immediately of any customer complaint and/or regulatory inquiry.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: Your love for customer service and cross-selling with an ability to network and build relationships will take you far. You're constantly taking a deeper dive, researching, investigating, and asking the right questions to determine a client's financial picture and how to advise them to achieve their financial goals.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: You will generate new business and cross-sell to existing clients to produce significant revenue for the bank.

FINANCIAL LICENSING: FINRA Series 7, FINRA series 63 or 65, and Life/Health insurance for financial professionals.

Education & Experience Requirements


This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field of study and 1-2 years of directly related experience in securities sales or 7-8 years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
