Job Overview


This role is located at the Appliance Business Unit's Lickdale manufacturing facility located in Jonestown, PA. As a production supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the UltraFast and MTA product lines. Your leadership will be essential to ensuring these fully-integrated product lines sustain productivity, quality, delivery, and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead day-to-day operations for the UltraFast and MTA value streams.

  • Interview candidates for openings in your respective areas.

  • Understand key concepts of automatic assembly, stamping, extrusion molding, and skiving.

  • Coordinate with onsite and internal HR for personnel issues.

  • Conduct semi-annual performance reviews.

  • Regularly communicate performance, attendance, and behavior concerns or praises.

  • Execute policies in adherence to human resources guidelines.

  • Maintain effective relationships and conversations with your team.

  • Be prepared for any presentations or calibrations with onsite management and your team.

  • Encourage talent growth.

  • Analyze and evaluate data to guide business decisions.

  • Conduct routine quality and safety audits.

  • Uphold 5S+1 standard across your team

What your background should look like:


Required:


  • Have a minimum of two years of manufacturing experience (leader and/or operator).

  • Experience in leading a team.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:


  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Mathematical capability to understand material flow optimization.

  • Experience with data analytics.

  • Familiar with core manufacturing processes: Molding, Stamping, and Assembly.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and controls.
