Position Description

- Management and scientific advisor of a local team of direct employees.

- Participate in a global management group with global improvement tasks.

- Operations representative in Business Area, development and life cycle management projects.

- Responsibility for a QIAGEN product family in Operations with focus on quality, availability and manufacturing costs.

- Management and coordination of technology and product transfers from product development to production and between different manufacturing locations.

- Management and coordination of international and interdisciplinary projects.

- Analysis and improvement of processes along the value chain for the responsible product family and beyondher/his area of responsibility.

- Organization and definition of priorities for own portfolio.

Position Requirements

- Scientific degree/education.

- Knowledge of biotechnologies involved in molecular diagnostics : PCR, NGS, and of infectious diseases are a plus.

- 5+ years professional experience, ideally in the manufacturing biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.

- Ability to manage complex personal tasks, team work, interaction and presentation to senior management and stakeholders.

- Strong troubleshooting skills.

- Project management skills.

- Knowledge of Lean, GMP and SAP PP.
