Responsibilities

The Mathematics Department at New York Tech, Old Westbury campus anticipate openings part-time (adjunct) instructors for daytime/ evening courses in Fall 2021 semester. The Mathematics Department at New York Tech is a service department offering a Mathematics minor to various Engineering majors including Bio-medical engineering. We expect that the new hires be qualified to teach service courses in Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

Qualifications

These candidates must have a minimum Master's degree in Mathematics and prior exposure to teaching college level Mathematics. Preference will be given to candidates with some prior experience in remote teaching using Blackboard/ Canvas LMS for course delivery. Instructors teaching Pre-Calculus and Calculus courses must use Cengage WebAssign online homework for their courses.
