About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions, North America is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Excellence Directorthat can drive the commercial strategy in NA. The main objectives of the role is designing and implementing commercial best practice, systems, tools and support the optimization of sales performance. The position will lead a team of direct reports in pricing, CRM and contracts. This position can be based either in Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC and reports to the VP Sales and Marketing,

What You Will Do


  • Responsible for reviewing and improving sales processes and relevant tools and systems, i.e. CRM, and the general way of working


  • Initiate and drive best practice sharing and advise and support local sales organizations in using common tools and systems.


  • Lead development of new system platforms


  • Proposes best tools/equipment supporting most efficient organization based on financial justification


  • Propose and run training on new technology


  • Develop, monitor, analyze and follow up KPIs and targets within CRM and other commercial tools.


  • Develops, implements and follows-up GTM approach incl. tools (CRM), KPIs, processes and organizational setup to drive organizational efficiency.


  • Continuously looks for improvements in procedures, systems, reports and processes


  • Leads and develops the Business Services team and supports the BU with expertise advice as needed


  • Improve operational efficiency of order to cash process


  • Optimize and automate sales and tracing interaction with partners and dealers


  • Continuous improvement of speed and accuracy of reporting to finance, sales and marketing, including links to CRM


  • Administer compliance to agreed contracts and pricing policies.


Who You Are


  • 4-year college degree in Commerce or IT and Finance


  • 10+ years experience in Commercial Tools Management


  • Prior experience working in Medical Manufacturing industry


  • Deep understanding of the sales process / entire value chain


  • Strong Project Management skills


  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and collaborative skills with Sales and Marketing teams


  • Proven success in building Pricing Strategies


  • Demonstrated success in effectively building teams and leadership agility


  • Highly analytical skills with a strong background technical in BI Reporting and MS Dynamics


  • Able to travel 25-50% domestic and international
