JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for performing timely and accurate service in customer’s plants, such as installation, commissioning, troubleshooting or repair to inspection equipment.  Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for Krones equipment.

Required: Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology and four years of experience as an Automation Technician.  In the alternative, employer will accept a high school diploma and six years of experience as an Automation Technician.  In addition, the following specific skills are required: 

• 4 years of experience with testing equipment such as voltmeter, ammeter, and ohmmeter;


• 4 years of experience reading blueprints, along with basic mechanical skills, drilling, tapping, cutting, filing;


• 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows XP and 7;


• 4 years of experience in machine hardware (control circuits, actuators and sensors);


• 3 years of experience reading electrical schematics and programmable logic controllers (PLC's), including Allen Bradley and Siemens;


• 3 years of experience in SCADA Systems and Fieldbus (Ethernet, Profi-Bus and Profi-Net);


• Requires extensive travel (Nearly constant – up to 100%), both domestic and international
