RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for invoice processing; including accurately matching packing slips to invoices, invoice data entry into ERP system, and the issuing of vendor payments.  

  • Responsible for the coding expenses processed through non-ERP software.

  • Responsible for resolving past due challenges related to indirect purchases and workflow.

  • Performs month-end reporting for accounts payable, including accrual review and vendor reconciliations.

  • Cross train and serve as back up for other branch AP and administrative duties.

  • Assist with both internal and external audits.

  • Special projects as required; other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2+ Years’ experience in Accounts Payable. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with vendors, coworkers, customers and upper management.

  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.

  • Ability to administer effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and work well under pressure and deadlines, high performer.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills required, very high attention to detail.

  • Very strong and effective communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong collaborator and team player.

  • Self-motivated and a driver with a positive, can do attitude.

  • Individual must know when to flag a breakdown, identify roadblocks and escalate quickly.

  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision.

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to take command and ownership of projects, driving them to timely, efficient, and accurate completion.

  • Strong computer skills including working knowledge of Excel.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:


  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Proficient with virtual communication platforms, video conferencing, etc.
