TheFinance Manager - Operationswill serve as the direct finance business partner to the operations team supporting the operations center of excellence, global supply chain, and transportation functions. The role will require strong analytical, financial, and accounting skills to drive strategic initiatives and long-term success within operations. Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation for operations finance


• Responsibility of making hiring decisions, managing performance of a team of 2 employees


• Analyze and provide insights to stakeholders in the operations function by utilizing effective financial reporting and interpretation of key drivers of future performance including financial commentary


• Lead AOP, forecast, and period-end financial reporting processes for operations finance


• Collaborate with corporate accounting and internal controls teams to ensure timely and complete responses for audit requests


• Ensure compliance with internal control policies about operations controls


• Build relationships globally to drive consistency in reporting, processes, and forecasting


• Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to support and safeguard financial integrity


• Manage and assist with various ad hoc projects including, but not limited to global inventory management standardization, and continuous improvement benchmarking and enhancement

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field


• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred


• Minimum 7 years of Finance or Accounting experience


• Experience within a manufacturing, production, distribution, logistics and/or related environment preferred


• Previous people management experience preferred


• Experience leading a cross functional project or experience within a Financial Leadership Development Program rotation preferred


• Strong systems and technical knowledge preferably with SAP


• Advanced proficiency with Excel along with knowledge and experience with other management reporting applications


• Strong process mindset


• Strong problem-solver who can communicate complicated messages
