Technical Writer at Beta Technologies in SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vermont

Job Description:

Beta is looking for a results-driven, customer focused technical writer that will play a vital role in supporting the overall company mission. The Technical Writer will work in partnership with Beta team members to document processes, equipment operations, specifications and content. An ideal candidate will have excellent communications skills and a background which enables them to collaborate effectively with business partners to deliver a high quality product.

Responsibilities:

• Create, edit and revise content, instructional and technical documentation.


• Produce high-quality documentation that is appropriate and easily digestible for its intended audience.


• Develop storyboards, mockups and other necessary documentation for the use of video and graphic content.


• Manage the content database and handle stakeholders communications on changes.

Requirements:

• BA Degree in technical writing or 5 years experience.


• All around good person and fun to work with


• Exposure to rapid manufacturing growth and preferably startup experience


• Ability to manage tasks and information flow using Confluence, JIRA and Draw.io .


• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills


• Ability to handle setbacks, and find solutions


• Desire to work in a dynamic environment


• Ability to make decisions


• Strong verbal and written communication skills
