Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete compliance reviews for all originated and non originated applications including commercial, mortgage, installment, and home equity loan applications.


• Research and document missing information to ensure completion of application information.


• Complete corrections and cross reference information in the Mortgage, Consumer, and Commercial HMDA, and RATA systems.


• Forward complete applications and information to be imaged.


• Track and report all exceptions noted in compliance review.


• Research and develop procedures for the HMDA tracking and reporting function to FIS.


• Develop support references and review checklists to assist staff in the accurate completion of HMDA data.


• Be familiar with and be able to assist with HMDA submission and analysis, if required.


• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE

• Position normally requires an Associate’s degree or continued education with specialized courses in such subjects as accounting, business administration, or banking as represented by a standard A.I.B. certificate.


• Minimum of two years’ experience in a compliance related field.


• Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word and EXCEL Software.


• Knowledge of applicable HMDA procedures, regulations, and laws.


• Knowledge of CIS, loan origination systems, RATA systems.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills.


• Excellent organizational skills.


• Detail oriented, self-starter.


• Demonstrated ability to carry out prescribed assignments on a day-to-day basis.

WORKING CONDITIONS

·         Works in a production oriented atmosphere. Environment may be noisy. Temperature may fluctuate to maintain equipment in optimal conditions.

• Works under regular supervision based on demonstrated proficiency in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
