Tetra Tech invites you to consider a dynamic Marketing Specialist opportunity to join our national Critical Buildings & Infrastructure architecture and engineering marketing team. This position will support efforts across the county and be an integral member of a newly formed marketing team focused on federal and commercial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of thoughtful, compliant, and high-quality documents including capture planning materials, writing and editing proposal documents, designing presentations, and developing other related marketing materials. This is not a sales position.

This is a dynamic position that requires strategic thinking, research, flexibility, curiosity, planned and proactive approaches, and the ability to shift priorities frequently while maintaining attention to detail and achieving high quality standards. The Marketing Specialist must be able to prioritize, multi-task, function effectively under multiple deadlines and time constraints, schedule workload and manage time efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while demonstrating an energetic "can do" attitude.

Your Role:

Proposals - Leads proposals efforts from kickoff-meeting through development and production; ensuring the messaging is aligned with the knowledge collected throughout the preposition phase while maintain compliance with RFP, RFQ, and/or SF330 requirements. Collect, write, and edit resumes, project descriptions, firm profiles, and other proposal material. Coordinate the development of graphics and other items required to properly convey the messaging. Prepare proposal documents on schedule, including pink and red team reviews to ensure timely and compliant submissions.

Presentations - Leads the development of dynamic and visual presentations that are aligned with proposal themes and messaging collected through the positioning and proposal phases. Facilitate storyboarding discussions, create slide content, attend interview preparation and practice sessions, and support the team with presentation coaching and delivery.

Other duties include working with business developers, project managers, marketing management, and office staff to support day-to-day sales/business development efforts.

Qualifications:

Candidates must work well under pressure and be skilled in communicating and gathering information from many sources. If you have 5 years of experience in proposal development or proposal and technical writing, top-notch editing skills, and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office we would love to hear from you. We desire candidates with a B.S. degree in business, marketing, communications, or closely related fields - consideration will be given for proven years of experience. Other considerations include familiarity with SF330 proposals for federal clients, and the architecture/engineering/construction (A/E/C) consulting industry.
