Job Description:

SUMMARY:
We have open positions in Huron, South Dakota for Conductors and Mechanics. Conductors operate track switches, couple cars, and perform movement of trains, cars, and engines. Mechanics inspect, service, and maintain diesel locomotives in accordance with federal and company regulations, diagnose diesel-engine malfunctions, and make indicated repairs using hand tools, measuring instruments, and sometimes machine tools. REQUIRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Two years of work experience a plus. Willing to train candidates if necessary


• Railroad or other relevant industry experience is a plus


• Ability to work in a 24/7 work environment in outdoor weather conditions

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS:

• GED, high school diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience


• Valid driver’s license
