Job Description



WANTED:The Test and Analysis Solutions Directorate (TASD) in Albuquerque, NM, has an opening for aProgram Managerwith a strong engineering and test background, capable of managing dynamic complex programs in support of Directed Energy (DE) Test & Evaluation Program. The objective of the campaigns is to assess directed energy systems availability, readiness, and utility to support acquisition of DE capabilities.

As aProgram Manageryou will:


  • Be responsible for managing a contract team in support of a DoD customer to provide a scalable administrative and management structure to accomplish the testing and evaluation mission.

A day in the life of aProgram Manager:


  • Serve as the primary technical and administrative interface to the Government Customer.

  • Submit monthly status and cost reports.

  • Identify, schedule, and track program activities and deliverables for project tasks. Ensure inputting and monitoring of the government maintained master schedule for all tasked programs using common project management software.

  • Identify, investigate develop, recommend, and/or integrate capabilities for ranges (live and virtual), system instrumentation, protocols, and ways to use test/experimentation capabilities to investigate operational questions.

  • Maintain configuration management of developed and modified tools, instrumentation, simulations, models, applications, and documentation.

  • As required provide support for technical briefings, event materials, and other project documentation.

  • Support business development, bid and proposal efforts, white papers, and rough order of magnitude estimates for technical programs

Job Requirements




  • Master's Degree in a technical discipline is desired. Bachelor's Degree with appropriate experience is acceptable.

  • 10+ years of experience leading technical teams in relevant areas.

  • Experience in DoD Test and Evaluation or Operational Assessments

  • Previous program management experience.

  • Must have knowledge of sound engineering practices.

  • Excellent documentation and report writing skills are essential for this position.

  • Must have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance after hire.
