Job Description:

Overview:

We are actively seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist and provide administrative support for an autism genetics study: SFARI SPARK (www. sparkforautism. org/uw). The successful candidate will assist in recruiting, tracking, and registering families for SPARK in the online portal. Additionally, the incumbent will provide behavioral support during in-person saliva collection for children with autism spectrum disorder (and the parents) of a variety of different functioning levels. Collections may take place in clinic and in family's homes. Other duties include collecting and entering data, maintaining databases, and assisting the PI and team members in the implementation of the study. Strong applicants will possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.

This position is estimated to be 0.30-0.40 FTE (12-16 hours per week).

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Prior experience in research or a related field/setting. - Confirmed proficiency in Spanish via successful completion of a language assessment.

- Transportation required (i.e. WA driver's license).Preferred:

- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.- At least three (3) years in a research or health care setting.- Knowledge of medical terminology.
