Overview:
The Khurana Laboratory at Brigham and Woman's Hospital and Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated junior technician to join our efforts in understanding and reversing the consequences of protein-misfolding in stem-cell models of neurodegenerative diseases. The successful candidate will be involved in exciting projects applying cutting edge stem cell technologies, genome editing and imaging to address this problem.
We are looking for a hardworking detail orientated, and focused candidate. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Experimental experience in stem cell culture and differentiation and molecular biology is beneficial. While most time will be dedicated to hands-on laboratory activities, duties will also include assisting postdoctoral fellows performing various procedures, ordering laboratory supplies and helping in maintaining laboratory general organization. A minimum commitment for two years is required.
