Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is currently seeking to hire a mid-level logistician to provide logistics subject matter expertise to the G4 at the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) in Colorado Springs, CO. The candidate will analyze the command's missions and determine the necessary logistics requirements to support all missions across the space and missile defense spectrum.

Responsibilities

* Prepare logistics and sustainment annexes

* Attend and provide subject matter expertise to meetings, working groups, briefings, Operational Planning Team (OPT), Integrated Planning Team (IPT), and other meetings or briefings as directed by the TO COR.

* Provide support in the performance of routine command and regulatory requirements in support of the G4.

* Other duties include:

* Provide support to G4 personnel in tracking assignment and completion of tasks

* Monitor and report status of required training of G4 personnel

* Consolidation of information and preparation of briefings

* Review of documentation to determine logistics impacts

* Other actions related to the logistics support to the command

Job Requirements

Qualifications

* Clearance: The ability to attain a DoD TS is required for exercise and planning events

* Ability to operate the Joint Operation Planning Execution System (JOPES) is preferred. Capable of operating JOPES after attending one week of training is acceptable

* 7+ yrs. experience performing similar logistics support

* Minimum Degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
