As aKey AccountManager in our Consumer Retail Segment you'll be responsible for managing the relationship witha DIY retailer to drive activation in market, so a passion for growth, strong customer relationships, cross-functional collaboration, and strong analytical skills must be in your DNA.

What you'll do


  • Develop and implement strategic plans for customers to include top-line sales plan, promotional plans, mixes management, new product introductions to achieve an annual Top-Line Sales plan. Deliver Top-line sales on-plan quarterly, semi-annually, and annually.

  • Assist marketing and sales management with development of promotional and marketing strategies as appropriate. Recommend opportunities for increased penetration, based on knowledge of customer and market trends.

  • Gather retail POS, analyze category, predict future business, and suggest alternatives. Measure/monitor weekly POS and drive actions that are focused on improvement.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers across functional departments within the customer's organization. Act as a liaison between Signify and the national account and take a leadership position on collaborative teams, to include but not limited to, Sales, Channel, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Store Service, Information Technology and Product Development

  • Collaborate with marketing team, to develop promotional programs and vehicles in order to capture additional off-shelf & product attachment placement. Recommend opportunities for increased penetration, based on knowledge of customer and market trends.

Your qualifications


  • Minimum of 5 yearsDIY National Account Managementexperience.

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus

  • Deep operational understanding of DIY ways of working along with strong knowledge and experience of systems such as Supplier Portals

  • Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to create and manage a "selling story" by utilizing a combination of syndicated data and sell thru data.

  • Ability to thrive, influence, and operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment-multi-task and prioritize under deadlines.

  • Remotely based in the Southeast region and able to travel for meetings
