Main resource and 1st responder to line calls for assigned zone and expected to flow to the work in other zones and cover vacation and call-in gaps
Drives completion of PMs in assigned zone while working closely with team leaders
Drives completion of work orders assigned to zone while working closely with team leaders
Functions as the equipment expert in assigned zone
Responsible for performing advanced PMs on equipment
Write, implement, and troubleshoot PLC code on new and existing equipment
Able to troubleshoot and replace VFD's, encoders, motors, servos, and sensors as needed
Read and understand electrical & mechanical drawings and plant controls
Able to redline electrical schematics to document changes as needed
Ability to accurately identify, understand, troubleshoot and repair electrical devices and components
Understand, implement, and troubleshoot PLC Code on new and existing equipment
Internal and external vendor communication
Serve as a coach and teacher, motivating teams, and developing their capabilities through training and support

Requirements
Good computer skills
Positive work history
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Solid understanding of Rockwell PLC hardware, PLC programming, VFDs, and HMI
Solid understanding of servos, encoders, linear actuators, pneumatic equipment, and sensors
Strong ability to access and comprehend technical manuals via the internet, and interact with external technical resources while addressing problems
Effective leadership skills including:
Problem solving (analytical troubleshooting processes)
Ability to make decisions under pressure

Forklift certified
Perform the necessary physical activity for purposes of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment including:
Climbing stairs and ladders, standing on, and moving around on platforms, equipment and concrete floors
Twist or bend at the knees and back
Lift objects up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques
Stand and walk for extended hours
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High-school degree or equivalent is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.

The noise level in the work environment is above 85 decibels and hearing protection is required.
VISION
Employee is required to have a minimum of 20/40 vision in each eye with or without corrective lenses. The applicant must pass a standard eye exam.
