Nestlé Purina is expanding! We've opened a state of the art distribution center and production facility in 2018 - our first new factory in over 20 years! We're thrilled to be joining the Hartwell, GA community and to welcome as many as 240 new members to the Purina family by 2023. On more than 100 acres, this 500,000 square foot facility will serve as our most versatile facility with the ability to switch product lines faster and more efficiently than we have ever done before producing and distributing the Purina brands our customers trust and pets love.

As the Manufacturing Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and assessing people across functions in our factory on Continuous Improvement. You will dive into our data to help us identify opportunities to improve our performance and processes. In addition, you will be a leader among our teams while performing traditional industrial performance and engineering responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather data and analyze reports, including stoppage analysis and other production line data.
• Responsible for managing industrial performance activities in the factory, including Nestle Manufacturing performance metrics.
• Continuous improvement project support and leadership, including the delegated supervision of employees allocated to those assignments.
• Support and direct coaching for all Nestle Continuous Excellence pillars to drive world class manufacturing.
• Work with leadership across the factory to support all manufacturing excellence activities
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience: 2+ years of continuous improvement, process improvement, or coaching and developing in a manufacturing, military, or related environment
