Job Summary:


Summary:

Provides an outstanding patient experience by offering excellent customer service to all populations seeking treatment.

Responsible for efficient patient flow.

Assists in patient care.

Performs all Occupational Health Services, (Ambulatory to include Immediate Care).

Position Responsibilities:

* Performs various clinical/technical tasks, such as: collection of urine (UDS,DOT UDS), breath alcohol testing, respiratory fit testing, phlebotomy, EKG, Vision, vital signs, etc. (Ambulatory to include out patient lab draws, crutch walking, splinting , basic first aide, etc.) (Occupational Health provides after hours substance abuse testing).

* Assists with daily patient care, assists physician/provider, prepares patient for testing/exam, responsible for efficient patient flow (Ambulatory discharges patients when appropriate).

* Maintains medical record and real time data entry. Fax appropriate paperwork to companies/clients in accordance with the HIPPA law.

* Oversees inventory and stocking of supplies, equipment with QA checks, and Linen.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

1-3 years of similar job experience in the medical field preferred.

Required Education:

High School graduate or equivalent.

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

BLS certification

RMA/CMA/AMT or the equivalent certification that is recognized by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners upon hire
