Social Media Account Manager at Daniel J. Edelman Holdings in Milan, Tennessee

Job Description:

Edelman Italy are looking to hire a brilliant social media PR person to join our Milan office to support one of our global clients. This is a contract role starting asap until January 2022 working full time, 5 days a week.

We are looking for someone with exceptional social media management experience, strong writing skills and fluency in English. You will be able to generate content ideas for our client and will be a self-starter. Our client sits in the financial industry. Financial PR/social media experience would be desirable but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

• Social media account management


• Ensure that content/conversations on social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, ) are aligned with the appropriate category strategy


• Successful agency management through regular content roadmap and status meetings. Influence and decide on content to drive engagement growth


• Social media campaign management (agency briefs and project management)


• Liaise with the client team to generate and develop ideas for content


• Execute local social media campaigns


• Review campaigns to ensure key performance indicators are met


• Review and approve any content assets to be used on social channels

Experience needed:

• Confident working in social media and community management


• in-depth software knowledge (MS Office, Adobe photoshop & Illustrator)


• Solid marketing experience


• Solid experience managing social channels


• Proven ability to write UK English marketing copy for social posts
