Job Description:



  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Reports to Supervisor, Clinical Research Ed Float/Executive Director, Medical Specialties. Completes screening questionnaire, registration procedures and swabbing on all individuals arriving for COVID-19 testing. May be required to travel from one mobile testing unit to another.

  • JOB SPECIFICATIONS

    • Education and Experience
      • The knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated below are acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior healthcare experience helpful. Requires knowledge of HIPPA laws. A valid drivers license is required.

      • Demonstrates ability to read, legibly print or write, and understand and follow verbal and written instructions.


      • Demonstrates communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients, visitors and co-workers and to maintain positive working relationships.


      • Requires the ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated.




    • Working Conditions
      • Works within a quick-paced environment to screen all incoming patients and visitors using verbal and written communication, as well as attain temperature scans using an oral or temporal thermometer. Maintains a donned mask and gloves throughout shift to reduce exposure to bio-hazards.

      • Requires the physical ability and stamina (i.e. to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time, push carts/wheelchairs up to 50 pounds) to perform the essential functions of the position.
