Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
• Transfer propellants from railroad car, truck transfer, bulk tanks, and DOT cylinders to appropriate containers and piping on site
• Changeover packaging lines from one propellant to another
• Operate and maintain propellant handling equipment
• Conduct propellant tank readings on a Daily Schedule
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on a Daily Schedule
• Blend propellants
• Sample propellants
• Tour the Tank Farm as required checking each Propellant Pump
• Complete appropriate paperwork
• Follow Safety/GMP guidelines for Tank farm/Gas house
• Follow Enzyme Policies and Procedures when applicable
• Maintain an Annual Performance Evaluation Rating of Average or better.
• Proper operation of gas house equipment
• Performs changeover and set-up of gas house related equipment
• Set-up and maintaining proper propellant fill weight specifications
• Set-up and maintaining proper crimp specifications
• Uses and follows the set-up and Blue Book specifications
• Fills out daily process quality data sheets
• Performs and completes daily gas house operations safety checklist
• Remove Scrap Barrels from line
• Maintains spare parts inventory in gas house
• Keeps spare crimping heads and metering cylinders rebuilt for gassers
• Performs periodic equipment rebuilds
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Maintain an Annual Performance Evaluation Rating of Average or better.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs several times per day
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Using hands and arms together to move various items
• Ability to work in an Industrial Environment

Additional Duties:
• Able to fill in for Maintenance Shift Supervisor
• Perform Gas House Audits
• Perform Tank Farm Audits
