Job Description:

As an Associate International Banking Specialist covering the Innovation Economy, you are responsible for bringing our international platform to US-based companies in the fast-growing and dynamic Technology, Disruptive Commerce and Life Sciences (TDC & LS) industry groups within Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries (MMBSI).

The International team partners closely with the domestic TDC & LS Banking and Treasury teams as well as our in-country bankers to provide Treasury, Credit, Trade and FX solutions to US-HQ clients and prospects that are operating internationally. International Banking Associates help early stage technology and life science companies navigate the geo-political, regulatory and banking landscape in each of the 30+ countries that the Commercial Bank operates in.

This is a fast-paced, client facing, revenue generating role that requires a candidate that is extremely well organized and able to manage internal and client relationships across time zones. The average portfolio size for this role is 250 clients and prospects.

Day to day activities will include (but not limited to):

Development of new business either through organic growth or prospect conversions

Disciplined pipeline management

Liaise with clients, Banking, Treasury, Trade, FX and Product Partners to develop client solutions and drive portfolio growth

Monitor portfolio profitability and post-close revenue ramp

Uncover and scope new revenue streams and ensure the highest standards of client obsession are met

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of treasury or banking experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand International Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures
  • Strong drive and ambition to be an individual contributor salesperson
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills
