We are looking for a versatile, curious, and motivated QA engineer to help define the way we build and test our products in a start-up like environment. The Role
 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer (QA), you will join a team of hands-on, passionate engineers to ensure the highest quality for our products. You will help build and own various test frameworks for both the front-end and backend.  This role is an integral part of creating products with first class user experience while able to sustain a fast-growing customer base.

• Review product requirements and design.


• Work with developers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.


• Create test plans and test cases per requirements and design.


• Develop and own test frameworks for UI, API, performance and security, improve test efficiency, and statistics collection.


• Execute and benchmark performance metrics. Monitor application to determine system behavior.


• Perform manual and automated tests.


• Identify, document, and validate system or software defects.

Basic Qualifications
 

• 2+ year of experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer


• Experience in automation testing.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Passionate about learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API, UI testing with Selenium.


• Experience with back-end performance tooling and framework development with Gatling;


• Experience with measuring and troubleshooting front-end performance metrics using Chrome Dev tools or similar.


• Excellent programming fundamentals with Java, Scala, and/or Python.


• Experience with database testing.
