Job Description:

Commercial Banking Production & Infrastructure Management (PIM) provides end-to-end service delivery for all Commercial Bank. Our Mission is to provide value to our clients through technical leadership in development, delivery and support of optimized standards and innovative information technology solutions to support the needs of our employees and CB applications.

As an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - namely, how can technology help achieve business goals - as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable supporting our Commercial Banking applications and end users. Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget, and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. Just as importantly, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration, and promote the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Responsibilities:


  • Define scope, roles/responsibilities, requirements, design, budgets and measures of success with focus on prioritization and timely results to deliver project objectives
  • Create effective project plans with appropriate tasks and milestones
  • Manage and influence diverse, cross-functional project teams to ensure defined project objectives are met
  • Run disciplined meeting with a specific purpose/agenda, the right individuals and clear outcomes/next steps
  • Recognize Risks, create necessary avoidance plans and action early
  • Detect and manage project Issues taking corrective measures as necessary while providing timely updates to key Stakeholders
  • Evaluate each project's progress and quality, course correcting as needed
  • Provide timely project status reporting ensuring clear and concise messaging
  • Communicate effectively using the right format and level of detail given the audience
  • Identify ways to improve process/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity
  • Work with managers to define resource strategy, implement sourcing schedule and adjust resources and priorities as appropriate

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of successfully managing infrastructure or medium to large customer impacting projects at JPMC or large firm
  • 5-7 years of IT experience, specifically an understanding of the end user technology arena in order to effectively manage infrastructure related projects
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team management, leadership and coaching skills
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Results-oriented / delivery focused; ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to regularly communicate and work directly with Senior Managers, Project Managers, End User Managers and ancillary teams
  • Capable of proactive engagement of business partners and stakeholder groups (GTI) and influencing skills at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-disciplinary teams to reach solutions throughout project life-cycle
  • Proven problem solving skills to manage through roadblocks and challenges
  • Ability to proactively anticipate and remediate risks and issues as appropriate
  • Independent worker; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • MS Office product knowledge including Project, Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint and Visio
  • Project Management Certification a plus
