As an experienced Data Modeler/Engineering professional, your mission is to help move our team of technologists toward creating next-level Data solutions that improve the way our business is run. Your deep knowledge of Data design, Analytics, Data Governance will help the team raise their game, enhance standards, improve time to market while satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your expertise in various technology domains will be counted on to help drive the development of complex and mission critical problems.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
5+ years Data Warehousing, TTL and RDBMS Teradata preferred.
Demonstrating knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts (including Star Schema) (preferred)
3+ years experience with ETL Tools.
3+ years of Data Modeling experience.
3+ years experience in the development of Logical & Physical Data Models
3+ years experience performing data analysis and data profiling on source data and document metadata for target data models.
3+ years experience of one or more data modelling tools (ERWIN preferred)
3+ years experience in one or more modern programming languages
2+ years of experience with the development and decomposition of complex SQL (RDMS Platforms)
Demonstrating knowledge of industry-wide Big Data technology trends and best practices
2+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming concepts and patterns with Java. Knowledge of CI/CD (Preferred)
1+ years of experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot) (Preferred)
1+ years of experience with utilization REST API and/or EDPI (Preferred)
2+ years of experience with scheduling tools (Control-M preferred)
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Hands on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project (preferred)
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Experience working in an Agile Team construct
