Responsible for assisting in design and modification of workflow applications and for ensuring that Workflow Design Templates submitted to Engineering are complete and accurate. Responsible for training of all Compass Workflow Design personnel. Responsible for maintenance of Compass Workflow Design Template tool and documentation in conjunction with Compass Workflow Team and Compass Product Owner.
Assist Compass Workflow Designers in producing original automated workflow designs, as needed. This includes:
Flow of control diagram
Interaction Page Layouts
Control Implementation details
Defining all required properties of Compass Workflow
Report definition and layout
Dashboard definition and layout
Assist Compass Workflow Designers in modifying existing workflow designs, as needed.
Assess workflows submitted to Engineering to determine that they are complete, accurate and buildable. Work with Compass Workflow Designers to make any necessary modifications.
Train all untrained Compass Program Managers, Data Analysts and Consultants who have been designated as Workflow Designers to be reasonably proficient in the use of the Compass Workflow Template tool and in general Business Process Re-engineering practices. As new features become available in Compass Workflow, provide refresher training.
Maintain the Compass Workflow Design tool and the Workflow Design tool User Guide. As new features become available in Compass Workflow, update the Template and User Guide with these features.
Participate in continuous process improvement sessions to make the Compass Workflow Design tool and User Guide better products, to improve training as a product and to provide input in improving the Workflow Engine as a product.
Preferred Skills and Education
Minimum bachelor’s degree business or engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience using any low-code/no-code workflow platform (multiple platforms ok) Examples: SharePoint Designer, Asana, KissFlow. Pipefy, Clarizen
Experience in Business Process Management is preferred
Written and oral communication proficiency is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
