Senior React  Developer at Infosys in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Senior React  Developer to help maintain existing applications and services, as well as, deliver new capabilities for our Client’s platforms. You will be immersed in modern tools and technologies to get the job done, such as AWS Cloud infrastructure and platform services, NodeJS micro-services, and a robust CI/CD pipeline.  . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Milwaukee, WI  be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies.
• Proficiency in Java full stack development React on the front-end and Node/Express on the backend.
• Experience building applications that are deployed to the cloud in AWS

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Expertise in building applications using React JS and Node JS
•    Experience building applications that are deployed to the cloud in AWS
•    Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
•    Experience with unit testing and working on APIs on the back end
•    Good understanding of GIT and source code management
•    Experience with React on the front-end and writing APIs using Node
•    Work with an agile team of full stack JavaScript developers
•    Build applications using React on the front-end and Node/Express on the backend
•    Jump head-first into modifying existing code while asking appropriate questions
•    Do research to identify the functionality and intended behavior of the applications you're working on
•    Create new applications from scratch using the defined technical stack
•    Participate in technical discussions that affect the current and future state of the applications and technical stack
•    Contribute to the team at your full capacity
•    Display proficiency in full stack engineering standards, best practices, and optimization techniques
•    Collaborate on creative solutions with other engineers, product managers, and designers
•    Bring new ideas and solutions to the team
•     At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
•     Excellent Analytical skills
•     Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
