Job Description:

Weare seeking a Wellness Coordinator that will work under the supervision of theWellness Lead in the Office of Children,Youth and Families. Incumbent will assist on wellness-basedprojects to ensure objectives related to staff engagement are met. The WellnessCoordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of healthpromotion activities and materials that align with the overall Children, Youthand Families strategies addressing staff wellness and trauma.

 

The Wellness Coordinator will collaborate with the Wellness Leadto determine staff wellness needs, develop wellness plans, suggest wellnessactivities, schedule activities, evaluate the success of wellness programs,identify training needs, coordinate staff, recruit wellness leaders, andaddress staff concerns regarding wellness and trauma. Asneeded, the Wellness Coordinator will assist the Wellness Lead with similarduties related to Transition-Aged Youth.

 

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities

?      Coordinating events andcommunications to ensure a positive employee experience with wellnessprogramming, including but not limited to Vitality Caf?s, trauma trainings, andcritical incident supports.

?      Designing and distributing wellness relatedinformation materials, such as posters, emails, and flyers.

?      Researching information for variouscommunication platforms; including newsletters, podcasts, digital platforms,etc.

?      Maintaining control of the wellness calendarand email.

?      Working withthe Wellness Lead, Champions, activity leaders, contractors, vendors, HumanResources, and Employee Assistance Program associates to administer wellnessinitiatives.

?      Supporting the Wellness Team at virtual,on-site, and off-site wellness events.

?      Trackingemployee participation and wellness incentives.

?      Coordinating and maintaining schedules for wellness relatedactivities; including health screenings, lunch and learn seminars, flu-shotclinics, mindfulness classes, wellness challenges, etc.

?      Researching current national wellness trendson initiatives, incentives, and engagement data to assist in buildinginnovative and relevant wellness programing.

?      Participating as a primary WellnessChampion for the agency.

?      Facilitating meetings of staff,community partners, and program stakeholders.

? Excellent written and oralcommunication and interpersonal skills.

? Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel andPowerPoint.

Education/ExperienceRequirements

Bachelor?sdegree in social work, health sciences, or related field, plus experience workingon health and wellness initiatives in child welfare or related agency. One ormore years of professional or internship experience in child welfare staff-relatedwellness, direct education, or coaching individuals for disease prevention,health promotion, and behavior change preferred.
