This position will support the Finance Manager located in Iuka, Mississippi. The position will focus on inventory accuracy, production costing and analyzing production and rental transactions at Iuka, Mississippi and Jacksonville, Florida.
This role will focus on inventory control transactions, correct costing, labor processing, managing production orders and rental transactions.
The success for this role will include continuous improvement of the existing condition, transparency of plant costs with a focus on cost management and analyzing cost information.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Monthly Financial Reporting
Prepare and complete the month end checklist which includes inventory and production reviews.
Work with plant management to develop action plans to achieve targets.
Production order review and correction. Includes physical cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods.
Identify, control and report scrap, expense waste and any other negative impacts to the P&L.
Additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
Shop Floor Data Collection
Provide daily support to plant and office employees on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications / transactions
/ reports
Review route/formula data – relating to scrap, run time, machine productivity, crew size.
Review production work orders and investigate discrepancies.
Physical Inventory
Support year-end physical inventory count for Iuka, MS and outside warehouse locations.
Prepare inventory count sheets.
Review inventory count results and investigate discrepancies.
Upload the physical inventory count results into D365.
Work with internal/external auditors and prepare reports as required.
Obtain approval for all book to physical inventory adjustments.
Other Responsibilities
Test new D365 processes.
Document work procedures.
Develop reports as requested by management team.
Provide inventory and costing related information for internal and external auditors.
Other projects in support of the Manufacturing process and financial reporting requirements.
Rental return exception reports and return cost summary.
Act as backup and support for OFP order creation and processing
Create Work Orders for in-house production as required.
Create Inter-Branch Transfers as required
Education and Qualifications:
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred, will consider other manufacturing systems experience.
