Triage RN/LPN- Worthington Pediatrics at Central Ohio Primary Care in Worthington, Ohio

Job Description:

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a highly motivated RN or LPN committed to patient center care with strong customer service skills to fill a full-time Nurse Triage position at one of our Worthington Pediatrics office located in Worthington, OH. This telephonic position will be first shift hours, 8a-5p, M-F.

The preferred candidate will provide exemplary telephonic triage care to COPC's pediatric  patient panel, utilize their clinical decision making skills efficiently, refer the patient on to the next appropriate level of care and possess knowledge of working within an electronic health record system.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide medical triage via telephone to patients.


• Utilize electronic health record and triage systems.


• Document triage episodes for each patient.


• Document phone details in tracking system.


• Schedule appointments.


• Close patient care gaps.


• Develop effective working relationships with the manager and COPC physicians.
  
   

Requirements:

• Prior RN or LPN experience in a hospital and/or medical practice setting using and EHR system preferred.


• Excellent listening, communication, and documentation skills.


• Must possess an active nursing license in State of Ohio.
