The Eye Institute at Boswell is currently hiring an experiencedFull-time OR Circulator who can work collaboratively with staff and surgeons and participate as a surgical team member in ophthalmic surgery. Major responsibilities include: preparing patients for surgery; assisting OR team and surgeon during ophthalmic surgical procedures; ensuring proper sterile technique; ensuring appropriate safety of patients and continuity of patient care according to policies and procedures and accepted standards of practice.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in surgical nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience as an OR Circulator.Ophthalmology experience is a plus.
