TacMobile Systems Tester at Scientific Research Corporation in Patuxent River, Maryland

Job Description:

This candidate will be part of SRC's contractor support effort at NIWC Atlantic's NAS Patuxent River, MD facility working on the TacMobile Systems Integration Test and Evaluation.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works well in a team environment


• Tests systems in the TacMobile Systems Integration Lab (TMSIL), along with other systems engineering projects and tasking


• Maintains high communications with the onsite customer and the contractor management team to coordinate any project requirements


• Communicates all local program challenges through local team lead and coordinate resources to achieve satisfactory resolution


• Tests and performs systems administration tasks in a Linux heavy lab environment


• Creates and maintains compliant and functional system builds


• Maintains IA compliance of operating systems


• Creates OS and software baselines that are functional and IA compliant


• Provides data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as required


• Develops test procedures, author and validate user documentation, and be able understand to and train complex systems of systems environments to fellow team members and navy personnel


• Collaborates with other contractor teammates and customers on a daily basis


• Works closely with customers to ensure deliverables meet their expectations and arrive in a timely manner


• Attends and actively participate in team meetings


• Travels as required, estimated to be no more than 25% of the time
