The Sales Operations Specialist provides operational support required by the Stride Learning Solutions Sales and Client Success team with new sales and orders for clients. This person will be responsible for processing quotes, contracts, and orders in Salesforce. This role maintains accurate data, assists in quote/opportunity creation, and gathers all necessary information for order transactions. The Sales Operations Specialist will interact with several internal stakeholders from various teams, including contracts, billing, finance, sales, client success and management. In this role, the Sales Operations Specialist works to continually increase their organizational knowledge and apply it to improve processes and deliver results.

  • Responsible for understanding and managing the workflow process from quote to order, identify problem areas, and take initiative to resolve with minimal escalations

  • Enforce internal operational and procedural compliance or seek approval from appropriate authority on special requests

  • Manage the Orders queue and process requests, and follow up on outstanding issues through resolution

  • Maintain data integrity of key accounts within applicable systems for day to day business

  • Work directly with Sales and Client Success representatives to assist with all order / product / delivery

  • Maintain knowledge of current and past product offerings (new, in-line, and closeout products) and be able to provide accurate information on product status or estimated delivery schedule with the sales team or customer as requested

  • Responsible for acting as a liaison with customer issues regarding orders by knowing who to contact for assistance or approval and follow through to ensure resolution and understand when to escalate for resolution;

  • Organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner

  • Adapt priorities to support business cycle needs

  • Perform ad-hoc project work or data entry duties as needed


Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.


MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED AND

  • One (1) year of Salesforce.com experience AND

  • Two (2) years of Sales Operations experience OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience


Certificates and Licenses: None required.


OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Web proficiency; Salesforce.com proficiency

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solutions oriented with strong follow-up

  • Extremely organized, self-starting, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Resilient and accountable with ability to work independently

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player across the organization on complex issues

  • Ability to clear required background check


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's Degree(s) AND

  • Stride Learning Solutions experience

  • Prior experience in online education
