TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

• To work well with peers and supervision.


• Layout, fabricate and install hard drawn copper tubing, fittings and steam tracing


• Perform pipe assembly for socket weld pipe tubing fittings and for butt-weld pipe and fittings.


• Perform tube identification and testing (continuity).


• Install multi-tubing and junction boxes.


• Layout and install supports, trays and tubing clamps.


• Read and understand specifications.


• Able to LOTO hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid systems.


• Work with mechanical and hydraulic swaging tools.


• Ability to layout and install threaded pipe system.


• Read P&ID, ISO and detailed pipe drawings.


• Ability to use tubing test and inspection equipment.


• Capable of using various types of mechanical, electric and hydraulic tube benders.


• Perform other related duties.


• Work at heights including scaffolding, man baskets and aerial lifts.


• Identify safety hazards when installing tube systems. You or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.


• Perform all other job related duties as requested by supervision.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of five (5) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience. A general knowledge of basic hand tools. Must be able to pass Instrument Fitter Test at or above 70%. Complete Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training. Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the required drug testing program. Must pass background check.
