This position is responsible for performing administrative duties in support of human resources, including handling correspondences on own initiative, maintaining confidential files, compiling and preparing special reports, data, arranging appointments, and handling a variety of departmental issues on own initiative, and exercising good judgment and discretion in the handling of matters.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Performs administrative responsibilities of a highly confidential nature for human resources relating to administration, change of status, compensation, monthly reports.
Maintain and issue ID numbers and badges for new hire employees, to include issuance of Forklift license (Flex and Salaried-Both facilities)
Track additions/terminations/changes for Corporate IT (Send Monthly)
Scheduling interview appointments and make travel and hotel arrangements as needed for visitors, to include interview candidates.
Create, update, and maintain pay increases, promotion, status changes, etc. in EV5/Kronos. (Flex employees)
Assist managers in maintaining the Kronos system: daily records of time worked, STD/FMLA Cases, attendance records, accruals & reports as required/requested. (Flex Employees)
Print and email timesheets to the temporary agencies for all temps (1 x per week)
Initiate and distribute change of status paperwork for FLEX employees
Prepare, post and/or issue monthly reports such as employee information reports, headcount detail reports, to include EHS rosters and reports due to the accounting department., etc.
Prepare and send out performance evaluations to Managers/Supervisors for all FLEX employees increases.
Maintain employee personnel files and responsible for keeping file room/files updated and clean.
Coordinate and schedule birthday celebrations for Flex and salaried employees.
Handle internal job postings/bid process - start to finish to include: starting with posting the position, collecting bids, verifying eligibility to bid, setting up interviews and completing selection paperwork. (Flex Employees)
Serve as a backup for answering phones in the receptionist absences.
Serve as a backup to the HR Generalists for submitting payroll control sheets for Flex Employees when needed.
Participate and attend Plantwide activities.
Performs other duties as may be assigned or required.
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
A high school diploma required
Two (2) year technical degree preferred with professional office experience.
Must possess a high degree of computer literacy requiring a high degree of proficiency in Word, Excel calculations, basic math skills, administrative skills, clerical, organizational and communication skills
Must be a self-starter with the ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
