The Senior Recruiter, RPO builds trusting relationships with Healthcare Professionals by understanding their goals & professional needs, educating them on open or future positions, and matching them with the best available RPO Client opportunity. They will ensure candidate quality and fit to satisfy client expectations including requirements, availability, licensure, and other required documentation. They will partner with other AMN divisions as well as RPO Recruitment and Account Management teams, to increase the number of candidates submitted to RPO clients and help achieve AMN RPO placement and revenue goals. The Senior Recruiter also takes an active role in the development of Recruitment Coordinators and Recruiters in conjunction with the Client Delivery Manager.

Job Tasks:


  • Plan sourcing strategy according to market demand using all available databases, job boards, internet searches and referral campaigns via phone, email and social media avenues in order to establish relationships and grow the network of qualified Healthcare Professionals for current or future open positions.


  • Source qualified Healthcare Professionals by utilizing internal and external resources


  • Manage email campaigns to address market demand in order to promote AMN RPO opportunities.


  • Screen candidates to ensure they meet all minimum qualifications and salary requirements.


  • Consult Healthcare Professionals on their current situation and ideal situation, probing for unspoken needs using a consultative selling style in order to gain commitment to take urgent action on the available opportunities.


  • Qualify Healthcare Professionals to apply to an open RPO position using their licensure, availability, skill set and potential fit in order to prioritize and determine the best job match for highest probability of placement.


  • Create urgency and gain Healthcare Professionals commitment to follow the steps in the hiring process in order to meet the needs of the client as well as Healthcare Professionals career goals.


  • Prepare and Present candidate profiles to the Hiring Team including relevant work history, skills and intangible qualities for Healthcare Professionals to highlight the best fit for the position and place the candidate.


  • Exceeds individual daily and weekly critical indicator goals in order to consistently meet production standards.


  • Update productivity reports in a timely and accurate manner.


  • Partner with internal RPO Account Management team to provide seamless service to Healthcare Professionals by sharing information in a timely manner and helping secure the placement.


  • Post and Update internal and external job postings according to high priority positions

  • Coordinate Pre-Employment Paperwork associated with client processes

  • Communicate timely updates and manage expectations between all stakeholders including Client contacts, AMN leadership and recruitment teams via email and conference calls - to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Escalate client issues as appropriate to RPO Leadership by owning resolution on behalf of client in order to maintain reputation and satisfaction levels.

  • Foster effective partnerships with internal department leadership including Nurse Travel Recruitment, Client Sales, and Marketing, to increase the flow of candidate and client leads.

  • Help leadership team with training and onboarding new RPO employees

  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Education, Certifications & Experience

Minimum Education/Certifications:

Preferred Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years recruiting, sales or equivalent experience in a service industry

Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years recruiting, sales or equivalent experience in a service industry
