Description

Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for running processes and machines in the assigned process and perform quality checks.

Manufacturing experience is not required, NSKwill provide on the job training for all Technicians.

Responsibilities

Assemble or lathe specific parts; passing unit to another assembler.
• Install moving parts such as shafts, levers or bearings.


• Maymake slight adjustments and complete documentation.


• Use measurement tools to ensure proper tolerances.


• May perform setup and/or restart of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.


• Able to follow written/verbal instruction.


• Ability to perform basic math and problem solving techniques.


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for the duration of their scheduled shift. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, hand, or feel; and talk to hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and reach with arms and hands. The employee must frequently liftand/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift/or move up to 40lbs. Specificvision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
