Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new clients. This includes execution of selling strategies for new clients and expansion of existing clients. This position is responsible for successful execution of the selling cycle from lead generation through to and including signing of initial Master Service Agreement and Statement of Work.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* Associate's degree in a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Two years' experience in selling services preferred.

  • At least one year of experience in a medical field required, experience in the clinical research industry preferred.

  • Demonstrated basic understanding of medical and site feasibility, startup, contracting and payments.

  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Communicate technical information in a clear, concise manner using relevant examples to clients.

  • Present a professional, knowledgeable overview of organizational capabilities, even when expertise may be limited in specific areas.

  • Ability to develop relationships with current and new clients.

  • Ability to successfully collaborate within a team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.


  • Selling and closing new accounts

    • Qualify prospects according to the following criteria:

    • Suitability of Company to leverage WCG site offerings

    • Available budget

    • Timeline



  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to provide supporting materials and expertise to support deal execution.

  • Follow up after client engagement to ensure client has the appropriate information to make an informed decision on WCG site offerings.

  • Obtain client signatures on documents in a timely manner.

  • Achieve or exceed Company annual new account quotas for each service offering.

  • Identify new business leads including cold calling, if necessary.

  • Work with WCG business leaders on prioritizing leads and leveraging internal contacts in order to engage new clients.

  • Coordinate with Site Optimization team to assemble documentation necessary to close a new account, including Proposal, Master Services Agreement, and Statement(s) of Work.

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Ensure seamless hand-off of new accounts to Operations staff.

  • Regularly engage with clients to strengthen relationship.

  • Provide feedback from clients to WCG project teams and senior leaders around issues.

  • Acquire and maintain a strong and current industry knowledge base and stay abreast of the latest medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing trends.

  • Assist with spotting new market opportunities and developing services to leverage them.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.
