Qualifications:



  • USCitizen

  • Security clearance or ability toobtain.

  • 2+ years of surveying experience using conventional, or related surveying equipment and military field operations

  • Experience in a role requiringorganize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Experience in coordinating, planning and scheduling survey tasks and field crews.

  • Strong technicalproficiency, including Microsoft Office products, Trimble softwareandhardware, AutoCAD,ArcGISandMicrostationOpen Roads Developer,INRoads, andGeoPACplatforms

  • Prior experience withODOTSurvey Procedures

  • Proven experience using Trimble GPS and Trimble Access

  • Experience with ArcGIS and Autodesk products


Responsibilities:



  • Manages equipment by prioritizing field for multiple projects, ensuring availability of survey equipment and software based on installation project needs.

  • Assigns appropriate equipment and/or instruments to installations and ensures crew availability and safety, trains survey staff at installations when needed, and provides performance feedback as needed.

  • Proper maintenance of Air Force equipment and reports repair needs as necessary. Answers questions from team members to ensure all best practices and standards are followed.

  • Maintain cutting-edge survey hardware and software, including Trimble total stations and receivers, terrestrial scanners, up-to-date survey, design, and mapping software.

  • Assist in training of staff on field methods and instrument use and care.

  • Proven experience providing excellent customer service.

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

  • Read, write and interpret reports, business correspondence and procedural documentation.

  • Perform basic mathematical calculations and apply to practical situations.

  • Effectivelyrespondto sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.

  • Basiccomputer skillsandmechanical aptitude.

  • Strongdecision-making skills.

  • Ability toprovideexcellent customerservice.

  • Strong skillsregardingclient interaction, setting and upholding project standards, boundary records research and determination are highly desirable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to supportgoals.

  • Quickly adapt and respond to industry changes as well as internalinitiatives.
