Digital Communications Analyst

Recruiting Location




The Digital Communications Analyst leverages the power of data analytics to support decisions related to Sidley's digital marketing presence. The Analyst will measure and analyze data from firm-run digital properties to increase views and improve user experience.

S/he will work with various content management systems, social media platforms and other web analytics tools. S/he will work with Digital and Marketing Communications leaders and broader firm management to further strategically position and improve Sidley's digital marketing presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

    Develop and maintain dashboards and individual analyses to effectively communicate the visibility and performance of Sidley's digital content;
  • Identify and run regular reports for and firm blogs to track user journeys, user behavior, content engagement, etc. to influence decision making;

  • Integrate analytics, for identified content pieces, across all relevant digital platforms, providing a thorough analysis of the complete digital promotion, including making informed recommendations;

  • Liaise across functional teams to provide statistics for content on Sidley-run websites, social media and other digital properties;

  • Maintain engagement-related statistics reports for posts to Sidley's LinkedIn account, Sidley's main Twitter handle, Sidley's main Facebook page and other social media, as appropriate;

  • Track competitor presence across social media platforms, including activity-levels, types of content shared and other available metrics;

  • Track bitlink engagement and statistics;

  • Source and research relevant hashtag use;

  • Run ad hoc reports, as requested;

  • Coordinate with web properties team and other stakeholders to analyze featured content items; and

  • Other duties, as required.

Education and/or Experience:


  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field

  • A minimum of 2 years of analytics experience, including digital marketing experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Knowledge of analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and Siteimprove

  • Knowledge of content management systems and/or databases
