You will work on products that will bring together cutting edge machine learning technologies to offer the best user experience by enabling best in class performance WIFI, securing devices and automating the home of tomorrow. Responsibilities:

• Develop microservices in Java, Javascript (nodejs), Scala, or Go that would interact with various DBs including RDMBS and NoSQL


• Pick and apply appropriate open source SW to solve challenging use cases


• Develop in agile environment, i.e. short iteration cycles with deliverables


• Work in a team and deliver high quality software on schedule


• Participate software design/code reviews and provide actionable feedback


• Jump on to issue tickets, come up with a resolution, and apply it when necessary


• Identify opportunities for improvement, and make it happen

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software development


• Excellent knowledge and experience of at least one or more programming languages in Java, Javascript (nodejs), Scala, or Go


• Experience using DBs with a lot of traffic, including but not limited to: Postgres, Cassandra, and Redis


• Practical understanding and usage of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP


• Experience in container build and deployment such as Docker and Kubernetes


• Experience in developing RESTful APIs

Nice to have:

• Experience in open source SW such as Apache Spark, Storm, Kafka, Zookeeper, and more


• Linux system knowledge


• API management
