Senior Program Manager at Calix in Petaluma, California

Job Description:

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who is passionate about motivating teams to meet commitments, leading programs, collaborating across multiple organizations, and driving programs to successful completion. This Senior Program Manager will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Major Accounts teams, and partners, to customize Calix's solutions and to improve the product lifecycle process.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams to increase the value of Calix's product portfolio by partnering with cross-functional teams to pursue new opportunities. You will be responsible for all aspects of your programs and you will be responsible for scoping programs, developing business cases, meeting costs, managing schedules, and the execution of your programs resulting in high quality deliveries.

In your role you will be an expert in program management and will lead cross-functional teams to deliver new innovative hardware and software solutions and to ramp solution deployments in new accounts. If this sounds like a role you can thrive in, we are looking for you!

Responsibilities:

• Lead programs to customize new products and to expand addressable markets.


• Develop end-to-end program plans.


• Track program execution and deliverables.


• Work closely with Sales to manage new product deployments.


• Partner with Product Management and Operations to launch new products.


• Collaborate with Engineering teams to adapt products for new markets.


• Drive program decisions based on detailed data and business analysis.


• Manage cross-functional program meetings, track program status, maintain schedules, and drive teams to meet commitments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of Program Management experience in software and hardware product development for residential and access communications systems.


• Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to persuade others to meet goals.


• Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs.


• Experience managing partners and suppliers.


• In-depth knowledge in product development, new product introduction, and product deployment process.


• Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.


• Able to work well independently and be proactive in driving projects to completion.
